Young artists will learn how to build "from the inside out." By mastering the use of a foil armature—the sturdy internal skeleton of a sculpture—participants can create ambitious, freestanding figures that defy gravity without sagging.
Using lightweight foil to establish pose and proportion, students will then layer smooth air-dry clay over the frame to bring their characters or creatures to life. This class focuses on structural integrity, anatomical volume, and surface detailing.
